Anyone who uses cone candles regularly should keep a few on hand. For years I've struggled to keep my candles from swaying in candlesticks and candelabra of different sizes, but no more! These little wax buttons will do the trick. You simply peel them off the cardboard, heat them up a bit, knead them with your fingers and place them on the inside of the candle holder or just glue them to the bottom of the cone, and no more wobbling or dripping! I never understood about this product its name. Perhaps they serve other purposes, but when I bought my first pack from a store many years ago, the owner specifically told me that they were used to stabilize candles. It never occurred to me to use them for anything else, although I suspect you can.
