i ordered a small pair in black originally, which i kept and wore but after a couple of wears, i decided that the waistband was in fact too big for me. the shorts are meant to be loose but it just felt like a little too much. i was happy to see that they did have XS in some colors which i decided to try and that is WAYY better. i ordered this yellow highlighter color and i’m obsessed. the waist is snug but not tight and just the right amount of flowy around the legs. i would say if you’re in between sizes, maybe size down only because they are on the looser side.i am 5’3, 125lbs, typically wear size 4 lulu
