In general they are pretty good. They are larger than I expected but still fit well and work well. I've seen complaints of the upper tearing too soon so I'm hoping that's not the case, but I can see how it can happen given how the upper looks. They should be thicker and stronger. Where they shined was the fact that I paired them with outdoor socks. For the most part, they make up for each other's shortcomings, and while they don't magically become fantastic shoes, they do come close. Sock socks fit snugly into these boots, they flex together, protect well, breathe well, and work better together than either alone. I still wouldn't recommend them for use on the treadmill, at least not if you have slippery feet like mine, as while they still cause friction that heats up your feet, they work great on their own. , and with socks to catch . casual shoes.
