Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

In 2022 I bought nex-5, at that time the camera was gorgeous, and opened up great opportunities in terms of manual old optics from different systems. In 2022 I decided to upgrade the camera, the choice was between a6000 and a6500, but since 4k video was not particularly interesting, silent shooting was also not a panacea, and the matrix stub seemed to be something unnecessary, and the double overpayment completely outweighed the choice on the a6000.

When switching from the old NEX-5 to the a6000, I was very pleasantly surprised by both the ergonomics and the presence of a viewfinder, and the quality and speed of autofocus was beyond praise. Now UPCs are on par with SLR cameras in terms of autofocus speed.

Pros

- APS-C matrix with wide DD at 24 MP - compact size of both the camera itself and the 16-50 kit lens - high shooting speed - the presence of a shoe - the presence of a viewfinder - built-in flash - change of shooting modes is placed on a separate control wheel - fits comfortably in the hand - Huge selection of manual lenses

Cons

- battery capacity, you need to have spare - whale 16-50 leaves much to be desired, mediocre sharpness, soap in the corners - a poor fleet of e-mount optics, but this drawback is more likely to be applied to the entire line, and not to this model.
