UPDATE: its been about 2 years of them permanently hanging outside with New England weather and they still work perfect. - -using for about 6 months so far and have held up in rain, snow and windstorms. very easy to install, I would recommend putting bulbs in after they are strung up. I didn't and lost 2 bulbs because I was clumsy but, they give you extra bulbs which was good thinking on their part. they are very "industrial", thick wire and plastic and are not "wimpy" for lack of a better phrase. NOTE: they are dimmable but you still need to purchase a "dimmable" device separate from these lights. I got a remote control one that works perfect, I opted not to go with the wireless phone app ones. overall good lighting for our outdoor porch area.
