Does what I need for outdoor accessories

This clutch pin is easy to attach and remove and looks good on my 2" receiver. A sealing ring, together with a spring clip, limits the lateral movements of the coupling bolt (see photo). Clutch lock pins like these come in handy if you are aware of their limitations. A quick internet search will show you how quickly such a locking pin can be broken with just a steel tube. To add the next level of security, the trailer must be unhitched from the hitch mount and secured with a hitch such as a hitch. from Proven Industries. Even these aren't entirely secure, but it would take a very determined thief to disable any of them. I had a boat trailer for a 21 foot boat stolen about 15 years ago so I'm a little paranoid when it comes to trailer theft. . Despite the insurance, the loss of this trailer caused great inconvenience. After losing the trailer I kept this boat in the marina until it was sold. I didn't have another trailer until I bought one with a small fishing boat a few months ago. I fish over 90% at night so I needed a semi secure trailer lock. I was considering products from Proven Industries but didn't want to spend around $300. Luckily I have a welder so I was able to make something adequate. Since the trailer was somewhat secured I still wanted a lock to secure the hitch ball mount. The mount I use is only about $45, so it's probably not an item that a thief would specifically target. But if someone were to steal the towbar as a joke, that would be terribly impractical. I don't want to moor my boat late at night and find I can't tow it home. The likelihood of this scenario becoming a reality is drastically reduced with this locking pin. This clutch pin looks like a decent product and does what I need it to do. The only minor complaint is that the two clutch pins in the set require different keys. I prefer one wrench for both clutch pins.
