I have arthritic hands and am always dripping shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I was looking for a device that could be wall mounted, hold all three, and be operated with one hand. I was looking at a product that I liked but read a few reviews that said it was "fragile" and would break if dropped. I saw this one and liked it even though it was double the price of the other one. It had mostly good reviews for being a reliable device. I also liked the fingertip t-arms that dispense the product instead of a button. I was happy when I took the device out of the box and felt its weight and it looked so beautiful. The hardest part of the installation was removing the cover to access the mounting holes. The lid is chrome plated lightweight plastic and after reading the instructions and watching a video of a guy sticking a screwdriver into the slots and the lid pops off easily and easily, I tried it and it didn't just bounce off. I was afraid to press too hard because this part is only thin plastic. Finally I heard a loud pop and one end was free and I could see what it was holding. Three plastic knobs run through the center of the lid, which slide into holes in the bottom by friction. Once I could see where to apply pressure, I removed the other two. I think the manufacturer should put grease on the three ends of the bolts to make them easier to loosen. I apply some petroleum jelly before putting the cap back on in case I ever need to take it off again. I mounted the unit low enough that I could refill it without removing the canisters as there isn't much room for a button to press to release once you wall mount it. The containers hold a lot of product and I had no problem dosing out thicker conditioner. I was hoping the T-arms were metal, but they're hard plastic, which feels very strong, and I've had no problems with them.
