Strap appears to be well made. The skin is not labeled but has the properties of "firming" skin. The buckle has a satin finish which actually looks nice and understated on the vintage watch I installed it on. What causes the problem: Although the tape was the correct width (18mm), the pins that came with it were too long to use. Fully compressed, they were too long to fit into the watch's lugs. Luckily I had two 18mm pins from the belt I was replacing so I could use them to install the belt. However, these pins don't have "quick change" pins, so I lose that strap feature. Overall a good watch strap, not so good adjustment pins.
