Affordable Ryzen laptop for computers and tablets

Don't let the name put you off at first, that's a lot. The screen, unlike previous iterations, is great for the price - crisp and detailed. You can probably find specs complaining about SRGB coverage elsewhere, but for the average sub-$500 user, this is great. It seems to be approaching 300 nits, which is definitely bright enough indoors. The keyboard is very good, not a MacBook Air or similar, but very close - much better than Acer/Asus/Samsung. The trackpad is in the same vein, very good overall, if you want to be really fussy, clicking around the edges wasn't the best for a right/left click. The sound was decent, definitely a laptop speaker and not too loud. Fan noise is imperceptible unless you are used to absolute silence, the fans spin up under load when you tweak and update Windows, quiet and not annoying to the ears. The build quality won't surprise anyone in a coffee shop, but the plastic has a brushed-metal feel and is attractive compared to, say, a gray million-dollar laptop. Moderately usable under the hood, soldered RAM stick (4 GB). Ignore other reviews that criticize Revain's delivery service and not the product itself, it's a sleeping Windows laptop. Highly recommended for research/browsing, writing and light gaming.
