Review on Dorman 70001 Tail Light Circuit Board - 🚦 Compatible with Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC Models, Set of 2 by Dave Mosby

At the time of purchase I was very happy the Dorman 70001 was in stock and Prime and considering the price thought it would be a great deal to replace both sides. The size, shape and fit were perfect for my '96 C1500 and the included foam pad made for a really great sealed taillight lens. large to ensure a snug fit and too deep for the clamps to fully fit into the harness. I swapped out a few bulbs on each side and at the time I figured there must be a short somewhere and I'll fix it eventually. My turn signals went out again and my brake lights went out again and I decided to troubleshoot. Skip it to the end: Using a multimeter proved that the problem is in the circuit boards on the taillights, and to allow the wire harness to fully penetrate the taillight board on each side, I have to push the connector in firmly, twist slightly, and hold it pressed/in place for the brake lights and turn signal indicator to work. I will NOT be buying these Dorman 70001 taillight boards again; I paid a little more for the ACDelco but the straps snapped, everything works.
