Review on Style Essentials Extreme Volume Mascara by Joshua Gulledge

I wanted to try this mascara because I couldn't find my favorites - Style Essentials Pro Artist Volume and Style Essentials Pro Artist Length. Unfortunately, the product is so dry that it is unusable. It has a nicely tapered full brush, but the product was so thick that it didn't transfer to the lashes (just a big dollop of thick goo at the end of the brush). I assume this has been lying around for years (not just months) to dry inside (no signs of previous use or tampering). Unfortunately, when ordering, it is not possible to determine how long it has been on the shelf. I like the flat shape of the tube and the mirror on the side is a nice touch.
