Firstly it is not suitable for vmic d3 deities. It's too tight and too long (there's free space in front even if you push it all the way). Second, its performance in the wind is terrible. To be honest it seems worse than the standard foam that comes with the mic. The foam on the inside feels a lot less dense than stock, so maybe that's why. The final shot is taken by a calm creek that is unusable due to the wind. I expected to hear a little wind but not useless especially since it wasn't a storm or strong wind. I would suggest that you check it out if you plan on using it before you ruin a whole day's worth of footage.
