I don't sleep well and this weighted blanket helps me fall asleep faster. I used to have to fold blankets to add weight, which I've been doing for over 40 years. Since I'm married, my wife doesn't like having so many blankets on our bed. This weighted blank allows me to keep my weight on my side of the bed and it doesn't fall off at night. I've heard that the ideal weight for a weighted blanket is 10% of your body weight. Also, expect it to get very warm at night. Great value for money I will most likely buy another one for my son who is anxious and also a bad sleeper. In terms of durability I only lasted a week but no signs of wear, thread or unraveled seams.
