Works well. definitely pros and cons to consider

So I bought this to upgrade the SSD in my late 2013 15" MacBook Pro. I wanted both a faster drive and more capacity. I went for Chose this model because I read reviews on other sites that said this model was superior to other adapters that I knew from experience can cause intermittent sleep and boot problems.Excellent drive matching that others sometimes lack. It offers better compatibility than other adapters I've used and causes far fewer power saving and boot issues, but it's by no means perfect, integrate your new drive as if it were a native SSD, I still have frequent issues, off to boot to sleep if I don't sit down After entering the password it hangs on the log screen screen - won't let me continue using it from sleep and requires a forced shutdown by holding the power button for about 15 seconds. I also sometimes have startup issues even after fully shutting down my MacBook Pro. This is definitely an inconvenience for me but can be devastating depending on the person. For example, I never have important work open when I close my MacBook screen. However, if you're writing an article, working in Excel, etc., and you've closed the lid of your MacBook to run to the store without saving your work, you could be in serious trouble. For me it's just an inconvenience. can handle a drive with a higher transfer rate (but only slightly due to PCIE 2.0 on Late 2013 MacBook Pros), but you MUST be aware of the problems this can cause before purchasing.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I won't say anything
