Review on πŸ”§ Mr. Tuffy Tire Liner - 1 Pair, Brown - 26 x 2.125 by Brian Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No more flat tires, period

Mr. Tuffy has been making these mistakes since at least this reviewer rode his bike to high school, and since then I've put them on every bike I have. This is a hard rubber liner that you place between the inside of the tire and the tire's inner tube to prevent the tire from being punctured by spikes, glass, or dirty splashes you ride on. I have NEVER had a flat tire with them including the hard cross country riding I did when I was in good physical condition. I recommend installing a set of plastic tire levers as you will need to deflate the tire a bit and pry one end of the tire off the rim so you can put it in there. A flat head screwdriver will work but may damage the rim. Do you need them for cycling? No, but driving home in the rain because you have a flat tire is not good.
