I have an existing camera (Dahua IPC-HFW4300S 3MP), I connected the box, clicked on the web link and it already found my camera, I entered the password for the camera and you're done. Please note: This is a Raspberry Pi that comes full OS and you could do it yourself for a few bucks less, but for your time and potential headache I should have bought this. The bottom of the page is fine. You add "apps" to your camera. Recording your camera is free for 3 days, streaming your camera is free with very limited controls and overlay graphics/ads, and you can create multiple timelapses for free. I was able to download their app from the google store and see my camera from anywhere and it's clear and vibrant. You can buy web features mainly in the broadcast app. One note: I haven't found a way to unload/remove the app after you've added it. I really don't want to take my house out into the world, so be careful what you add. I wish they had a security camera feature to watch part of the screen and notify me in the app or via email with photos if anything changed in that part of the video feed.
