Originally I was looking for an add-on for my desktop. In truth, I took refuge in front of my desk where I could work and do other things, like in my bed or in the living room. Thought I'd try this tray instead. I'm not a big bathroom user but felt like I could use this somewhere other than the bathroom. I think the idea of using this throughout the house was a good one. I could use it on my bed, on the couch, on the floor, or as was proper in the bathroom. The tray confirms its claim to Zen design. I can put many things on it, even my laptop and some books so I can use it for work or play! I love that they used bamboo as the material and it confirms its claim to zen design. The tray is approximately 27.5 inches long and can extend up to 41 inches. Standing height with support on feet is 8 inches. An iPad Air easily fits in here. It can also hold books, pens, a Bluetooth speaker, your choice of beverage, or your choice of humidifier. In general, I use this tray often. It is well made and bamboo is a durable material. Would recommend this to a friend. I think this would be a great gift idea too!
