Compact compared to others we've tested. To be honest it sits on the bedside table and charges overnight at our place so I'm not sure about the charging speed compared to other chargers. Worth the money, I've been using it every day for a month, no problems so far. My only comment is make sure it's charging before you leave, it has a small surface so sometimes you think it's charging, instead you just have to move the phone left or right a little bit.
