My 10 year old is smaller than most of his friends his age - smaller and thinner. For that reason it was a gamble on a size 10 and I was surprised it was still too small! It was too tight from shoulder to crotch. We'll be coming back. Already ordered size 12 as she loves the design. I'm not sure if we'll have better luck, but I hope. If not, I'll use a different brand.
