The controller is glued on the back.
The first thing I noticed was that the charge controller was glued to the back of the panel. The pictures misled me as I thought it comes with a separate controller. This makes it almost impossible to see the status LEDs when lying on a surface or when the panel is attached to a surface. The output signal was measured in direct sunlight. If you try to charge a dead battery with a voltage of about 10V, it will output about 700mA. Let's see how it works in the long run, but at least it's working for now. So those are my impressions so far. so so.
