Review on 🌬️ Experience Soothing Relief with Vicks VWM845 Warm Mist Humidifier by Brian Foster

I used this product without reading the instructions. They say they clean the water box weekly but I only did it after 4-5 weeks. Big mistake! The water chamber was a oozing orange goo. I cleaned everything with household vinegar but there was a lot of scale on the heating element. Less than half of the heating element is easily accessible. This is a very tight space. I soaked paper towels in vinegar and used a wooden cuticle trimmer to loosen the minerals. I had mediocre results. I now brush weekly, using very concentrated vinegar (the kind you buy for weed control) on paper towels wrapped around the heating element, and I'm still working on adding the minerals from my original bug along with this week's minerals solve. Bottom line: Great machine, hard to reach heating element to clean, don't forget to clean weekly if you're using tap water!
