I am a middle aged woman with normal to sensitive skin. I haven't used traditional/chemical deodorants/antiperspirants for over 15 years. In my experience, the longer you stop using chemical deodorants/antiperspirants, the better results you'll get with "clean" deodorants. Smelly toxins take time to get out of the system. So if you use this product right after a conventional product, it may not protect you from the stench right away. An armpit detox can help :) What I like: - The smell. It's very "outside" but not overwhelming. My husband and I share a deodorant and he loves the scent of lavender as much as he loves bergamot. Deodorant. He's doing his job! I reapply when I'm sweating a lot and it still works to mask/remove the odor. Some crystal deodorants require the cores to be washed before reapplying, but this seems to work without. What I don't like: - A bit soft. I've had about 50/50 luck with a really soft/soft product and a firmer, smoother product. It just takes a little skill not to trip over a pile. Less is better. Overall my whole family LOVES this product and I will continue to buy it. This brand is also worth supporting!
