At first I was a bit disappointed because my son was so big when he was born. He weighed 8 pounds, his photos came out beautifully and he is a big boy now, 10 months and 23 pounds. The hat fits him snugly and keeps his head warm (when he wears it). He wore this hat most of the time when it was cold or windy and we get LOTS of compliments. I can put it on my head so I believe the hat will last us a long time. I would suggest taking photos of your baby every month so you can watch him grow. I also wish there were more colors because I want another set for my new son. I will always cherish it as a big part of my childhood.
