Review on Bike Bicycle Phone Mount Bags: Waterproof Front Frame Top Tube Handlebar Bags with Touch Screen Phone Holder Case - Perfect Cycling Pack & Storage Bag for iPhone 7 8 Plus xs max by Patrick Pearson

Good for my use, yours may depend on it.

I bought it mainly as a phone holder to use when cycling. I chose this one because I don't want to look down so far in the city. I've looked at other phone holders, those rubber bands that go around the corners (they seem short-lived) and those that screw into the stem (the phone seems to snap or dangle). This gives me the ability to remove the backpack after the bike is locked. As storage, this is a bonus for me, but it allows me to connect a battery to my phone and store it in storage. Worst case scenario, a cable will come out of the headphones and back through the flash, but to my surprise there's enough room for the cable, but you're better off using a right-angle cable. I haven't tried wireless charging. A few more notes: 1. The touchscreen only worked when my screen was already on. There's no access to the power button to turn on the screen, and double-tap to wake was responsive. When the phone's screen was on, it worked perfectly. Not sure how it will perform in those sensory gloves or in wet/cold weather.2. Likely the plastic velcro straps and how often I put them on and off to wear out the velcro is likely the reason for the failure. I would avoid over-tightening with too much tension on the plastic.3. Water resistance is stable at best. I don't mind that as other phone mount options would expose the phone to the elements anyway and my phone itself is reasonably waterproof. I held the bag under running water and after 30 seconds or a minute I saw that it was wet around the seams and especially near the headphone hole. I put the towel on a second time and it was wet at the seams. This is not a real zipper but has stitching next to the zipper and on each of the rounded edges. If you are cycling in the pouring rain or in the rain for a while I would expect the contents to get wet. It will withstand a little rain and puddle splashes, but anything that lasts forever will see through the seams.
