First of all the case works pretty well and is really easy to install. My minor criticism of the case is that it still requires a screw to mount the device. I figured with the opening lid they would make everything screwless. Comes with a small screwdriver to screw in the disc. The screwdriver is not magnetic, so be careful when screwing in the disc. You can insert any m2 NVME drives and it will automatically detect that you may need to initialize a new drive. Make sure you have the correct hard drive as unfortunately it is not suitable for M2 SATA drives. The drive head is too big. I will say that the setup for this is pretty easy. You just put it in the slot, press down on the washer and screw it in place. The sliding lid works great and is reliable. The circuit board is securely fastened in the case and you don't need to remove any parts from it. There are several holes for discs of different sizes. Luckily I had nails so I could pull the board out. Again, no screws are needed for the case, but what you actually need to do is screw the drive in place. However, once you've protected it, it's not going anywhere. It doesn't have a heatsink or anything so your hard drive won't have the same cooling as many others, but I haven't seen any heat issues other than getting slightly warm during transfers. Only one cable is supplied. There's only one type c for type c, which is a bit clunky. I'm not a fan of Type-C cables, but the one that comes with it is well built. The case itself is made of hard plastic with a glossy finish that gives it a metallic look. It's prone to scratches, but you can protect it by buying a case or something for it. It's lightweight because it's made of plastic and you can easily carry it in your pocket or backpack if you want. In terms of timing and durability, it's not the strongest. I definitely wouldn't give it up. As far as drive security goes, I shook it a few times to see if the drive wobbled, but it's holding up pretty well inside. The transfer speed is pretty fast. You see an average of 160 to 140 MB/s. I can transfer a lot of data quickly and don't have to worry about overheating. Overall I think this case works pretty well with M2 NVME drives, but the case can be made out of metal and they can provide both a cable and at least one adapter.
