I was a little apprehensive when I bought it as the conventional wisdom is that monitors wider than 27 inches should be curved. However, this has in no way negatively affected my usage and enjoyment. I mainly use this for games with a bit of multi-screening for multi-site learning. I have a previously used 27" VA monitor and this is definitely a step up. The only downside is that few videos on YouTube or PC games have ultra wide support. It shouldn't matter much if you don't mind the side rails. Yes, and you'll need a decent graphics card if you're going to play this. From December 2020, Cyberpunk will bring my Super 2070 to its knees. I hope that the new patches will improve the optimization.
