Very satisfied with this product. I use iphone 4s with it. It seems big enough for an I6 or Galaxy6, but I haven't tried those phones in it. The jaws hold the phone very firmly. One side of the jaws has a notch, rubber coating. On the other side are 2 cutouts, just a rubber pad. No problem as I don't use any other notch. Good rotation and locking. The suction cup on the windshield seems to work well/reliably. overall very satisfied. I've had one or two of these devices and it seems very basic, but does the job way better than the stuff I bought at car dealerships/department store departments.
