In short, the child threw the phone on the floor in the store, came home, there was no pen on my Note 8. I ordered this replacement. From the box everything looks fine, looks the same as before although a slightly different colour. I read reviews from people saying it won't stay in the phone so I put it in. No problem. A few days later I actually use what I usually do, crop part of the screen into an image. That's where it went wrong. The tip material here is different than the OEM. It either doesn't recognize a touch or thinks you've double-tapped by selecting a tiny area of the screen. It can be used if you're very careful, but forget about matching frames from the screen, it's so annoying. Then the kid dropped the phone on the floor of the house, I'm going to pick it up, the pen jumped out. I checked how much force it takes to push it out and it's not that much. The regular bag will eat up your fine, but if you're a phone dropper this thing is almost gone. It was cheap so it's hard to complain too much. However, please note that this is not OEM quality. Tl; dr - the tip sucks and makes it uncomfortable to use.
