I bought this ear unit in case my main unit fails. Well, as luck would have it, my main handset got chewed up a bit by my dog. I charged and connected this device, everything was fine until the 3rd charge. I plugged this device in to charge overnight around 10pm and at 6am when I unplugged it to use this device I noticed it started to melt on both sides of the device. That being said, I've been using Bluetooth headphones for a very long time and I've never seen them melt like this. The external control button is stuck due to a melted earpiece. A few months have passed since the purchase, so the right of return has expired. I will not. And I would not recommend using or buying this device.
