First of all I would like to say that this is a great backpack/purse!" Nicely made and stylish. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars as other reviewers mentioned is because the Zipper on valve is a difficult task to open. I contacted the seller who responded quickly on the matter and offered to run a candle or soap over my teeth to lubricate. I opted for a black candle (I ordered it in black) instead of white soap. It worked very well. I found holding the item by the loop at the top helps it work better. The price for this genuine leather couldn't be better; I had no problems with the "smell". As the reviewer said. Detail of The alligator skin on the flap is nice too Great size (not too small and not too big) I don't usually carry my iPad around but when I do t ue, it fits here perfectly with extra space for a spare karma water bottle. We're a good size inside and the back pocket is great for a wallet. n easily accessible. I love this backpack and have had many compliments on it. I would buy again in a different color.
