I have read other reviews where people said they got splattered when opening the bottle and I didn't know what they were up to until I pre-ordered myself a few weeks. Now I love it and the phrases are a nice touch to motivate me to drink water which is why I got it. But sometimes when I open the lid to drink through a straw, the water spurts out without warning, onto the cup holder in the car and onto me! I have no idea why this is happening if it's some sort of physical reaction, but it's very annoying. It has actually gotten to the point where I stand in front of my car to open it because I'm afraid of getting wet because it's so unpredictable whether it spills or not. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars. But Hydromate you better do with it.
