Great camera! on digital cameras

Going from pointing and shooting the Cannon Powershot A95 to a DSLR was a big step. When I first got it I was a bit scared. Surprisingly I found it very easy to work with and of course on the same day I shot with automatic settings. Now, a few weeks later, I've looked through the manual and I'm much more comfortable with manual settings. I highly recommend getting at least one Nikon SS-600 flash, which I got. The images are impressive and professional. I'm sure that with more practice, my photos will turn out just as good as they did in the studio. At least that's the goal, and with this camera and easy-to-understand features, I'm sure I'll achieve it. I also bought a Nikon Nikkor 55-200mm AF-S zoom lens as the lens that came with it doesn't allow close-up photography. All three items, including 4-year protection, an 8GB card, two extra batteries, a case, cleaning kit and car charger, were purchased from Revain and Cameta Cameras, Revain's retailers. Huge savings! I bought everything for 1050€. Compared to Best Buy where just the camera, protection plan, flash and extra lens cost over $1300. If I bought everything from a local store like Best Buy, I'd spend almost $1,700. Wow!
