Great little camera!

I bought D-50. I liked it positively. Beautiful and small, convenient to use, light weight. Takes great pictures. My wife was responsible! Finally, after two years, I became wiser. I bought her a D-60 and got a D-50! The D-60 has everything the D-50 has, only smaller, lighter, quieter and more megapixels! I love VR lenses. The picture quality is excellent. She mostly shoots nature photos, and the 70-300mm VR lens does a great job of capturing the wings of birds in flight. (See examples from…

Excellent DSLR for photo and video

I bought this camera from Revain about ten months ago. Despite the fact that so much time has passed, I still haven't mastered all the features of this camera. I confess that I consider myself a beginner. I got this camera as an upgrade to my Canon S2 IS, which offered many features over a typical compact digital camera, but not as many as I wanted. The D60 gives me the same creative freedom I once enjoyed with my old Canon T60 DSLR from the 1990s (I'm telling you, I was a beginner!). Aperture…

Great camera! on digital cameras

Going from pointing and shooting the Cannon Powershot A95 to a DSLR was a big step. When I first got it I was a bit scared. Surprisingly I found it very easy to work with and of course on the same day I shot with automatic settings. Now, a few weeks later, I've looked through the manual and I'm much more comfortable with manual settings. I highly recommend getting at least one Nikon SS-600 flash, which I got. The images are impressive and professional. I'm sure that with more practice, my…

Gadget Owners Blog: Nikon D60

having owned for over a year and it remains a popular choice with consumers. I won't go into detail about specs or comparisons, but I wanted to at least give an idea of how the Nikon D60 has served me. This camera is for entry-level photographers who need more than just point and shoot. In short, I love the D60 and I'm glad I bought it. It creates incredible RAW images that I can fine tune with Photoshop. This is a full SLR, not an intermediate option. I have taken countless photos of family…

Great little camera but be prepared to do a little work

I've had the D60 for two months now and have only got to know it enough to feel competent to write a *useful* review about it. Out-of-the-box reviews cannot provide a good, clear understanding of what you are holding in your hands. I love it. Now I know what IT likes and doesn't like and how to fix my mistakes. Pros: 1. Fairly lightweight 2. Durable3. Very fast loading time.4. The battery lasts amazingly long due to the energy saving (Camera lasts all day? No problem!). Wise advice: either turn

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
