Gadget Owners Blog: Nikon D60

having owned for over a year and it remains a popular choice with consumers. I won't go into detail about specs or comparisons, but I wanted to at least give an idea of how the Nikon D60 has served me. This camera is for entry-level photographers who need more than just point and shoot. In short, I love the D60 and I'm glad I bought it. It creates incredible RAW images that I can fine tune with Photoshop. This is a full SLR, not an intermediate option. I have taken countless photos of family and friends and it has never let me down. I have several different lenses for it and it works with most older lenses (but not all autofocus lenses). At the moment my level of knowledge in the field of photography is modest and it was not difficult for me to get started. I recommend a few books if you're just starting out: David Bush's Guide to Nikon D60 Digital SLR Photography is the guide that should come with the D60. Digital Photography Book - Scott Kelby Digital Photography Book Volume 2 DSLR - Excellent image quality - Remote control can be used - which I also have - External flashes can be used - I have a Nikon SB900 - Price cons - Cannot be used as a master flash - Older AF Lenses Cannot Autofocus - No Live View - No Video Full Review Posted in: [.]
