There's still no logic to route

I had a car sat nav in 2002 and was disappointed with the routes it had to take and hoped 10 years later they would be better at recognizing when to turn off the main road. Why drive through the whole area when you can just stay on the main road and then turn left and right and be there? Other than that it worked really well. I like the 5 inch screen.
