worked on a 2004 Lexus IS300

I like that no batteries are needed. is powered by the diagnostic connector in the car and when I am outside the car I can plug it into a USB port and read the stored diagnostic codes. The plug fits exactly on the 2004 Lexus IS300. It reads the VIN information and identifies the vehicle. Type of. I had to pick the number of the year. I was able to scan the codes and get an informative description of the transmission issues. It has a nice bright display and a reasonable menu system.
