Starts on a worn leg. The power adapter that came with the product was wrong, I ordered another one and the same thing happened. I called support and after a few weeks of trying, they finally sent me the correct adapter. The products really do a decent job. If you only need it for watching videos from old VCRs, it does the job perfectly. But it has too much lag to play video games. I wanted to use this with my Nintendo 64, playing games (especially stuttery games) was unusable. Role playing can be acceptable as it is a slower type of game. So if you need to convert an old video source to your 4k TV that's fine, but there are much cheaper options if that's all you need.
