Review on Peak Design SL-AS-3 Slide Camera Strap Ash: Premium Comfort for Photographers by Pat Haberman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This harness is SUPER! and worth every penny!

The best camera strap I've ever had. I don't think I can justify buying anything other than a Peak Design harness! The materials used for this are very smooth and glide from the waist to the face without much effort. By reversing the strap, I can safely carry the camera on one shoulder without fear of it falling or being constantly misaligned (I literally jumped and it stayed in place). The quick-release buckles for adjusting the strap length are so easy to use that you don't even have to remove the strap from your shoulder, simply unlock the locking mechanism, hold the camera in one hand, and gently pull the strap to adjust the length. .NOW FOR MY FAVORITE PIECE! Red quick release anchors are literally epic! It's barely noticeable on my camera and I can lock and unlock it with one hand on the strap in less than a few seconds! Gone are the days of putting down the camera, unbuckling the strap, having huge annoying strap mounts getting in the way, and holding the strap in place because it was difficult to remove. bla bla bla. you all know! ANNOYING Barely there anymore. Thanks very much! renders my t5i with battery grip and 18-135 lens worthless by designing this perfect strap. My old belts hurt my shoulders after a while. But not anymore!

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No auto seat belt
