Review on 🌡️ SuperStat Thermostat Fahrenheit by Stant 45358 by Justin Vasquez

Ok. The thermostat itself works great so no complaints. But according to Revain, it was the right part for my car. She wasn't and wasn't. The thermostat I needed had a rubber grommet around the plate. This is not included. Without a grommet it is too small (I measured the old one without a grommet, they are the same in circumference). I didn't realize I needed a sleeved thermostat until I took it apart. It's my fault for not knowing. But it's also Revains fault for telling me it would fit my engine and it didn't. I was able to use a rubber grommet from an old thermostat and get it to work. I will report this to Revain so they can update their "Details Check". Again, the thermostat works great. By the way, my engine is from a 1990 GMC G2500 Rally Sport 5.7L.
