I use the shower speaker with intermittent direct water jet. I keep my phone in the bathroom in a ziplock plastic bag and the sound comes through with no problem. The sound quality is pretty good for such a small speaker, and it's very loud when I turn my phone's volume to the middle. It mounts easily on a dry plastic surface with a clean speaker backplane. Once attached to the wall it stays up unless you stick your fingernail underneath to remove it or really pull tight. The buttons work fine. I can confirm the speaker stayed charged for 2 weeks with a daily 30 minute shower, towel dry and prep routine; I only charged it out of fear that the battery would eventually run out during one of my showers. After 2 weeks it charged in about 30 minutes. I am very satisfied and can recommend this speaker.
