My daughter is very sensitive to everything: shoes, socks, clothes etc. I was shocked that she liked these shoes because they are not "soft" but for a while it was the only shoe she wore. She buttoned them up very loosely and her legs practically slipped off when she walked, but she loved it. In addition, she receives many compliments addressed to her. They are shiny and charming. They are very durable and have even survived many trips to the pool. I bought 2 pairs.
