Yeah I don't think they would fit a 5 year old lol. I thought I ordered a size 13 for a small child (4-8) but they sent me a size 13 for adult MEN π. I can only imagine a grown man riding around town in these bad boys. Besides being taller than my 5 year old nephew, the shoes look great! Excellent quality, color, all tools and wheels are. Definitely brought back memories! I recommend them, I know that once he is the right size he will be very happy. Just remember to order the right size! It can be difficult, just pay more attention haha.
