Received yesterday. Some dried zucchini. They seem to be fine. I recommend the manufacturer use rubber washers or some other anti-vibration device as it really rattled like crazy until I filled the sock with rice, untied the end and placed it over it. It really reduced the vibration. So overall it's like a keeper with a rice-filled sock solution. I like the light inside and the real glass door. Another recommendation from the manufacturer. The device has no air filtration. So you can suck in dust, flying insects, etc. If your workplace is clean and there are no flies in the house, then this probably isn't a problem. In any case, we will install some kind of air filter, being careful not to obstruct the airflow. As I just discovered, I need more time to form an informed opinion. I give it a four star rating. Could go up or down depending on what happens over the next few months. *** To update. A total of 12 early tomatoes were dehydrated. They were decent sized tomatoes and a ton of cherry tomatoes. Took almost a whole day but the tomato slices were quite thick. Made them as thin as potato chips. I mean all 12 tomatoes fit in a 1 liter zip and there is still room. So far I love this dehydrator.
