I recently ordered some $40 shoes. This was the first pair I got as it seemed like I really got what I paid for. The color in real life is not as bright as the pictures on the web. The material over the rubber soles is very thin and feels cheap. The sudden wealth strap on the upper in person felt like a gimmick, and when I added it to the shoe it seemed overly busy. The shoes came in a package, not a box. Which isn't terrible, but in this case I saw dents in the shoe's material before I removed the plastic. I'll wait a few days but I'm thinking of going back and definitely won't be buying again. -------------------- Update 3/1 - I have decided not to ship the shoes back. For the first few days I decided to just leave the shoes with the intention of sending them back. I ended up removing the strap at the top and then surprisingly I was able to put them on. Also, the Rucks zippers make it easy to put on/take off your shoes. Finally I have some Dr. plugged Scholl and they felt a lot better. I'm sticking with my 3 star rating because it's not the best quality. For the price you pay, this is fun, new and exciting to add to your shoe park and wear from time to time. While my rating hasn't changed, I wanted to reflect a more positive vibe in my comments.
