Review on πŸ“± Tech Armor HD-Clear PET Film Screen Protector (Non-Glass) for Apple iPad Air/Air 2 / New iPad 9.7 (2017) - 2-Pack by Daniel Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple and clean app.

Why did I give this product a good rating, but a competing product "amFilm iPad 9.7 screen protector" got a bad rating? It's all about the application process. This product is easy to apply and (almost) bubble free, the other one isn't. This product comes in a two-pack with a small plastic scraper, a couple of dust straps, and a cleaning cloth. I didn't use tape and a rag. Instead, I used a set of three dust-free lens wipes to get rid of all the dust. Specifically, I used Welby brand wipes, which come in a pack of 100 so you don't have to skimp on wipes. After the screen was clean and dry, I simply followed the instructions to apply the screen protector normally. The difference between this application system and another: This application system has a simple cardboard packaging that minimizes static electricity. Styrofoam that becomes statically charged as soon as something is moved in the package. This one doesn't dust the whole room like the other one. This system has a smooth plastic scraper. The other comes with a squeegee which is not smooth and sheds particles when used. There is a lens cleaning cloth in this system which I did not use because the edges were trimmed with lighter weight scissors; The pink edge of the fabric sheds the fibers, but this rag is not needed when using wet wipes. The lobe in the other system is essentially the same.
