I have had chronically dry lips, cracked lips and bleeding since childhood. Sometimes even a smile tears the skin on your lips. You'll also feel burning and irritated, and lip balms (even Carmex) don't last long enough to really help. This is the first product that had a significant impact on me! It's a heavy, waxy coating that lasts for hours (without eating, the food will likely take most of it off), but feels light and smooth. I am very careful about my appearance and wear makeup every day which gives my lips an even texture and even goes well with most of my lipsticks and glosses. It has a soothing menthol tingle that feels great when my lips are irritated. I love this product! Finally my lips feel better and look better. This is a powerful lip balm in its class. I highly recommend it.
