Update: After a few ruined projects, a terrible smell, burning eyes and suddenly bloody noses, I brought this stuff back. I definitely don't recommend that. Original: The bottle says it should harden in 2-3 minutes. I make necklaces and it sat all night without hardening. I've had this under my plant UV lamp which is rated at 460-622nm and that should be enough to cure this stuff. Pros: - Most of the material stays where I put it instead of rising to the top like the epoxies I use. It's good if only it would heal. So far everything is pretty crystal clear. A few cloudy spots - It's nice not having to mix the resin. Cons: - STINK. When I get anywhere within 5 feet for pre-curing, the smell is awful. I got dizzy too. I don't have this problem with epoxy so it might be related to this material. - Eye stinging - I wasn't wearing glasses and my eyes were burning. So wear goggles! (This says on the bottle but I forgot to put it on when I started) - There was a cloud in places where I had to pop the bubbles with a toothpick or other tool. Maybe something about the instruments but I keep them away so I don't understand why. Doesn't heal as written. Doesn't even cure overnight like epoxies. I can't put my stuff outside because I live in a green hell and dirt will be everywhere. I can't do it in the window because of the cats. But with the powerful UV lamp I have, it should cure quickly. - Folds and waves. When he finally recovered, he puckered and shrank. I'm used to shrinking with epoxy, but at least it levels itself out and doesn't curl unless I do something stupid. :D- So many bubbles! Sometimes the bubbles won't burst even with a heat gun. I had to exorcise many of them with the tool, but others also emerged. Numerous projects have failed. When I finally got it to cure, the center of my small projects sometimes stayed liquid! In some cases, the resin in the center deformed the hardened surface and liquid began to flow out. Ridiculous. I'm so unimpressed and annoyed.- Transferred the dye color to some of my shapes. This has definitely never happened before. I don't feel that the pros outweigh the cons in this case. The only thing that can sway me is the fact that things stay where I put them, except for a small flower that kept hovering over me and a couple of miniature books. Smol didn't like the mini books at all. I would not recommend this material as regular resin, even when measured, was much easier to use and better looking when made. In the photos you can see the bumps on the items and the soft center on others.
