Really like a blanket

As a new mom with very little experience with kids, I had no idea blankets were banned in cribs until I got pregnant and found out that Halo sleeping bags are considered the holy grail of crib bedding . So of course I added them to my registry in every size. However, when I received the sleeping bags (both cotton and fleece) as a gift, I was completely blown away. I was expecting something meant to replace a comforter to actually be like a comforter. Halo bags seemed pointless to me, especially the cotton ones. I love a nice heavy blanket when I sleep and I expect my baby to be comforted by it. The other sleeping bags didn't compare to the many nice blankets I was given that I would only use during the day. under supervision and not at night when they were very needed. My children's room is the coldest in the whole house, probably because of broken window seals. So it was important that we find something to keep them warm. This bag came up in my search and I decided to try it. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, it was thick and fluffy, like a real blanket. My child's room is usually around 20-20 degrees Celsius at night and that keeps it warm and cosy. I put it in a terry cloth or cotton sleeping pad. She sleeps all night. She is 3 months old but long for her age and I ordered Wednesday. It sits perfectly on her torso, he cannot lift himself up and cover his face. The length is very long but I love it because it can grow into it. And ceilings have to be oversized, so it seems natural to me that they're so long. The images are just amazing - a feature I didn't know I had until I got it. Many times I have laid them down to sleep or sleep and not put them in a sleeping bag beforehand. It's so comfortable that you don't have to put your hands in the sleeves. I can easily close it without waking her up. The zipper is large and easy to use. The pink butterfly is very cute. The material of the sleeping bag is dense and soft. It is very high quality and worth the price. Washed several times, no shrinkage or wear. This is a great item that I think will last until my daughter is old enough to use a real blanket. I am very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: My daughter is now 13 months and I went back to get another plus size one. After being washed countless times, it's still in great condition (and will be saved in case another baby ever comes along). My daughter is almost 32 inches so she's getting a little big for a medium size but otherwise still fine. I've used this sleeping bag for most of the last year except during the summer heat. For spring and fall I simply adapted the clothing I wear it under - usually a long sleeve jumpsuit. For the summer I bought a "light" Baby Deedee sleeping bag, which turned out to be great. I no longer worry about her sleeping under the covers, but she moves so much when she sleeps that the covers never stay on her. Thanks to this, she can be cozy and warm all night, no matter how much she moves. After extensive use, I am very impressed with the quality and functionality of this item. At first I doubted the purchase because of the price, but now I can say with certainty that it's worth it.
