***ADDITION*** I've had it for five months now and it's still working great - the battery lasts a very long time (VERY long) and didn't even work for me it not the slightest problem. Initially I just wanted to use this for practice - not knowing if I would trust a live wifi connection. Now I plan to use the WiFi connection live. ---- I've been playing guitar for over 40 years and have never used a wireless connection. I was tired of fiddling and tripping over cables in my small rehearsal room at home. So I decided to buy a wireless kit for home use only - then I wasn't sure I would trust them on stage. I've been using these daily for a while now and have had enough time to really appreciate them. You are phenomenal! 1) The battery easily lasts more than 5 (or 6) hours on each charge. As expected, the transmitter consumes power faster than the receiver. But the stated battery life is correct and NOT exaggerated. They really last that long and charge very quickly. 2) Two devices connect immediately. Turn on the receiver and the green indicator will flash. When I turn on the transmitter, they connect and the light stays on. 3) The sound quality is perfect. As an added bonus (and reason enough to get them), removing the pickups from the ground loop removes any ground loop hum on the pickups. And there are no problems with nutrition and safety. 4) There is absolutely no noticeable lag, which was my biggest issue. 5) The wireless range is quite good - I can walk around the house and stay connected. I really love these things, highly recommend them and would love to buy more. I will definitely use them in live performances.
