Purchased for a home automation project. The lack of any documentation meant I had to do some research to understand the pinout. (Hint: Ignore the first and last holes.) Soldered to the pins, but none of my ESP8266 boards read the middle rows. I ended up buying a few more keyboards, another from this one and a few from WishioT (thinking I had messed up the ports with my poorly sighted hands). WishioT's boards are identical but a few dollars cheaper. www.amazon.com com/gp/product/B07B4DR5SH/ Keyboards from both sources work fine and appear to be pretty solid. My soldering went well too; I connected the keyboard to the circuit board incorrectly. live and learn :)
